A weekend of winter photography
Surrounded by Lake Michigan's Frozen Beauty
When the ice is building and the winds are howling, you will find Mark Lindsay and Kristina Lishawa with their ice spikes on, skirting the apron at Point Betsie Lighthouse, photographing with wonder. Mark and Kristina are renowned winter landscape photographers who love to capture the incredible beauty of Lake Michigan's frozen shores. They are excited to offer this unique winter photography workshop to share their creative process and vision with other photographers.
Guided photo shoots & post-processing sessions
Imagine. Frame. Shoot. Create.
Mark and Kristina have limited this workshop to 10 participants to maintain an ideal learning environment and provide ample individual time with each photographer. They will guide you through the process of learning to see your image in your mind before you set up your camera and push the shutter button. They will show you how to use elements to frame your image and create compelling compositions. They will explain how they have learned to use available light to create drama in each scene. They will also teach you their editing workflows, discussing each step of how they take a raw file and create a work of art through post-processing.
